techno · Crimson Colimit
Clean farm render of a synthwave-tagged track at 128 BPM in extended structure
mode with auto-DJ disabled. This is the source material the three
petri-cycle remixes were collaged from — published here so the metamodel
experiments have a reference to A/B against.
Pipeline
run-farm.sh --genres synthwave --per-genre 1 --structure extended --auto-dj off
| step | output |
|---|---|
| seed-feed.py generate | canonical envelope (envelope.json) — 1 bar of pattern per instrument as a Petri net |
| chromedp render | opus-encoded audio.webm (~3:18, 2.6 MB) |
| farm seal | content-addressed CID over the envelope JSON |
Source envelope highlights
- Tempo: 128 BPM
- Bars per loop: 1 (rendered "extended" → loops the pattern across ~100 bars)
- Seed: 1781088851449349214
- Root: C3 · Major scale
- Instruments (9 Petri nets):
- kick → drums
- snare → drums-v8
- hihat → drums
- bass → fm-bass
- melody → big-saw
- hit1 → airhorn (muted by default)
- hit2 → laser (muted)
- hit3 → subdrop (muted)
- hit4 → booj (muted)
Why this is the canonical artifact
The CID is the SHA-256-based multihash of the canonical envelope JSON. Same envelope → same CID regardless of where/when it was rendered. The audio.webm is a derivative — a different render of the same envelope (different timing seed) would yield the same CID but slightly different bytes.
Derivatives
